1. What if I have work experience in a field that is not my university degree ?

2. Can a German citizen provide a sponsorship letter to replace the blocked account.

Good day, thank you so much for a detailed video with sites to get our applications running. I have some questions for an applicant currently residing in Nigeria:
1)Is your WAEC result or your BSC degree from a valid institution enough proof of English proficiency or we will need IELTS?
2) If we can only work for 20 hours with this card, how do access a full-time job that will require more hours, or with the offer of a full-time job, you can apply for another visa type?
3) Does a remote job from a company not based in Germany suffice as proof of funds. Also, I read somewhere that a part-time job from Germany can suffice as proof of funds, if this is true, can you share sites where we can access them.

Hello,
I have more than 8 points and I am proficient in English. I had appeared for IELTS and scored 8 band back in August 2021. Now Do I need to take the test again ? As per video it says language proficiency certificate is Mandatory. Kindly suggest what is the right thing before submitting my documents.

Proof of sufficient financial means to cover the costs for the time of your stay by one of the following documents
• Proof of a “Sperrkonto” (blocked account) in Germany with sufficient funds currently amounting to at least 1.027,– EUR/month plus sufficient funds for the return flight OR
• “Verpflichtungserklärung” (formal obligation letter) by a sponsor living in Germany OR and (if applicable) prior work experience
• Statements of a current bank account etc.

statement of account will it work instead of block account as in the above point mention any one of the following

Thanks for the video; for the English Level B2 on the requirement, does it mean one must have IELTS? Or what else can be used as evidence during application as a Nigerian

Recently, I lost my job while holding a Blue Card residence permit. Unfortunately, I am not eligible for unemployment benefits, but I did receive two months of support from the Job Center under the Citizen Livelihood Benefit. Now, the Ausländerbehörde (Foreigners' Office) intends to shorten the duration of my residence permit, which could result in my expulsion from Germany.

In light of this, I am exploring the possibility of applying for a Chancenkarte (Opportunity Card) to secure my stay in Germany,I am prepared to arrange a blocked account with 12,000 euros as proof of financial stability or secure a part-time job offer to meet the requirements.

Am I eligible to apply for a Chancenkarte given my current situation and my willingness to provide proof of financial means or a part-time job offer?
